Terms of Service

PlumbRate sells downloadable Microsoft Excel (.xlsx) flat-rate price book workbooks for plumbing contractors. The workbook is a pricing tool: it contains service descriptions, editable labor hours, editable material costs, and formulas that calculate sell prices from the hourly rate and markups you enter.

Labor times, material costs, and any prices shown in the workbook, on this site, or in the calculator are industry starting points and examples only. They are not guaranteed, not a quote, and not professional, legal, tax, or financial advice. Actual job times and costs vary by market, crew, supplier, jobsite conditions, and code requirements.

You are solely responsible for reviewing and adjusting every labor time, material cost, markup, and final price before using it with customers, and for complying with all licensing, permitting, tax, and consumer-pricing laws that apply to your business.

Your purchase grants a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the workbook internally within your own plumbing company. See the License Terms for what is and is not permitted.

Prices are shown in U.S. dollars and are exclusive of any applicable sales, use, VAT, or similar taxes, which are calculated and itemized at checkout where required. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never receive or store your full card details. Delivery is immediate and electronic: after payment you can download the workbook from the My Books page, and we email a secure access link to the address you provided.

Because the product is a digital download, refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

We aim to keep the site and download service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Support is provided by email at support@plumbrate.com.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PlumbRate is not liable for lost profits, lost revenue, underbid or overbid jobs, or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the workbook or this site. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product.

We may update these terms. Continued use of the site or the workbook after an update means you accept the revised terms.
